I am not going to attempt a starting line up or rotation for next year, but the draft went about as well as we could hope. Siary and Nate Williams are the only two guys off the current roster that you realistically could've hoped to have back next year that were drafted. You lost Jojo Parker and Landon Harmon from the high school recruits, but I'm not sure anyone honestly expected either to make it campus. Jacob Parker was drafted late, but it seems he's going to come to school at least based off the statement he released. To get nearly all of this high school class to campus is big. Davion Hickson, transfer from Rice, is the only transfer State lost. All in all, State can feel good about how the draft went.
Bauer will need some development in 2026. I doubt he features prominently. I'd guess some midweek relief duties and maybe a midweek start or two. Hopefully Parker and BOC can develop him.
Catcher should be a big upgrade. Milewski alone is an upgrade. Andrew Raymond from George Mason is going to provide some needed depth at that position too.
