No your not gonna get some heat strokes. Or shouldn't. Heat stroke is the third level of heat injuries. Heat cramps and heat exhaustion are the first and second level. If a kid practicing football is overcome with heat stroke, then every adult involved in that practice and football program should be fired. Period. I've been in 110 degree weather in Iraq with body armor on, on a tank range at Camp Shelby in August with record high temps inside of a armored vehicle with temps in excess of 120, and multiple other high temp/high physical activity situations and not one of the soldiers under me had a heat stroke. Yeah we had some heat injuries, had to give a few IV's, even flew a couple out on a MEDEVAC, but not one heat stroke. You treat it before it gets to that level.
Now, saying all that. I'm sure Mix had heat exhaustion and was properly treated at the hospital, he will always be more susceptible to heat injury and should be watched more closely. Just another example of message board madness and people not knowing what they are talking about.
