It doesn't matter where you stand, just pray for the physical safety of everyone, especially our law enforcement officers that are caught in the middle, figuratively and literally.
Amen, to that too DP. I talked to a state trooper from my church this morning. He was on his way to Charlottesville. He is on a task force, so they must be expecting the worse. Damn shame people cant come together peacefully.
The sad part is most of the butt heads involved are not from VA. The protest are getting ridiculous. You want to protest and fight. Go in the military and do it. That goes for both sides.
Bleeding Navy and I have some tremendous disagreements on a lot of things. But we don't have to bash each other's heads in, or destroy somebodies property to prove our point. And afterwards, we agree to disagree and remain best friends. It's not a unique or difficult way to settle diasagreements.
I'll take a pass on praying for the safety of white nationalists.
I really can't understand how the judge allowed this - everyone knew bad things were going to happen with crazy nazis with shields running over downtown. Jefferson must be turning over in his grave.
It was going to turn violent. Period. Both parties showed up with bad intentions.
Plenty of blame to be shared EVERYWHERE. Unfortunately and fortunately, "free speech" is open ended, save for yelling fire in a crowded movie theater....

Here's a solution regarding the Confederate Statues...Put them all in some sort of museum. Germany doesn't have any public statues of Nazis.
