I certainly add my thoughts and prayers for the coach, his family and friends, and especially for the kids that he worked with. When we are older we accept that bad things happen to even good people from time to time. Most kids haven't had to face this fact of life and it's a confusing situation for them.

The last I heard they were having to drain fluid from his brain and lungs. I'm not sure of the long term prognosis. I haven't heard anything in the last couple of days. I know he's in the best place in the area to get the care he needs. He will have a long recovery time with lots of therapy I would assume. He & his family are in our prayers.
Have you been to Swallow Falls SP? It is beautiful there. After I was diagnosed with MS I started hiking a lot because I always loved to hike and I didn't know how long I'd be able to do it. One very cold day I made a trip to Ohio to see falls in Hocking Hills SP, went to Ohiopyle SP in Pa to see Cucumber Falls and Ohiopyle Falls, Swallow Falls in MD and Blackwater Falls in WV.
