So it wasn't because she didn't break the law that she wasn't prosecuted.

According to Prosecutor 4, “[T]he problem was the State Department was so screwed up in the way they treated classified information that if you wanted to prosecute Hillary Clinton, you would have had to prosecute 150 State Department people.”

Now that is government for you. If they prosecuted her, it was because she was high-ranking, compared to the other peons. Compared to military situations, this is beyond messed up.

Lol, if sane is what the Trumpies do on here color me crazy. How many "bombshell" exonerations does this make for you guys?

Yup Keyser...Trump sure figured out how to trick Mueller, Horowitz, Comey, the Media, everyone about that Russian collusion he pulled off didn't he? Faked 'em all out...even you Keyser!

In other words, don't make an example out of her how screwed up the entire Department is. She didn't "intend" to screw it up... she just kept it screwed up!

Prosecutor 1 told the OIG that the discussion with Lynch about Secretary Clinton’s interview included whether Clinton was credible when she testified that (C) paragraph markings in an email could mean subparagraphs (A), (B), and (C), rather than that the paragraph contained information classified at the “Confidential” level. Prosecutor 1 stated that he told Lynch that Clinton’s testimony “strained credulity a little bit because, well, if anyone knows Confidential, the State Department is the entity that uses Confidential information a lot.” He said that they discussed with Lynch that their reaction to this explanation was skeptical, but that they also did not know what “people at the very highest levels” understood about classification markings.

This is coverup. I hope they did deeper here.

Horowitz is deep state, because he didn’t report what you wanted?

I didn't say that. I said it's a whitewashing. The conclusions are not consistent with what he describes in certain areas, particularly the lack of obtaining evidence and letting things go. Government covers for government, just more of the same.

We still don't know why Hillary wasn't prosecuted for breaking the Law, or what the potential violation of our law Trump was/is being investigated for or even why he was placed under surveillance for investigation in the first place?o_O
(well we know, but the Swamp dwellers won't rat on themselves just as you said @TarHeelEer )

When we need a potential Presidential candidate stopped let's not leave it up to the voters, just call in the FBI.

They stink & I don't even need to smell 'em 007! Felonies Hillary was in violation of listed in the IG report, Comey called out for not doing his job and overstepping his authority not following up on criminal activity, agents conspire to exonerate one Law breaker and develop an illegal scheme designed to take out another...
Lefties say "so what?" "Who cares"?

They do stink.

This is why government sucks:

INSD assessed the FBI Midyear Exam investigation successfully determined classified information was improperly stored and transmitted on Clinton’s email server, and classified information was compromised by unauthorized individuals, to include foreign government’s or intelligence services, via cyber intrusion or other means [referring to compromises of email accounts associated with certain individuals who communicated with Clinton’s server, such as Blumenthal]. However, the structure of the investigation and prosecution team, as prescribed in the CD PG, and treatment of the investigation as a traditional espionage matter rather than a criminal investigation significantly hindered the ability of the investigative team to obtain full, accurate and timely information.

In other words procedures to protect that information were violated (against the Law) requirements to safeguard that information was violated (against the Law) and the investigation of how those Laws were violated was botched and covered up (also against the Law). But, no Laws were broken, and there is no need to prosecute anyone because those who enforce the Law can't possibly be guilty of violating it.

Taken in whole, it is pretty damning to the 7th floor in general. The conclusions statement doesn't match the rest of the document, though. I have a feeling it was completely rewritten.

At least you have the NYAG lawsuit to distract people from this dud.

I don’t agree. I do however think this report (amongst other things) proves that Comey was a bad FBI Director whose ship was not tight at all. It proves he deserved to be fired, imo.

Multiple referrals for criminal investigation were mentioned throughout. The conclusion doesn't match.

LOL.

The summaries and conclusions were written by DOJ staff, not the IG.

Now it makes sense.
