Don't see how anyone was being a fake fan when they tried predicting how many games the team would win. As it appears to be, those people you called out as being fake fans might have actually been too optimistic.

You’re wasting your time - like 99.99% of Payne supporters - he went into hiding.
Using current data - hard to see more than 3 or 4 more wins. That said, there are more winnable games on the schedule for this team but hard to envision with this team and staff right now.
I also don’t think it was so much being hopeful or fanboys. For me, I predicted 12 to 18 based on the non-conference schedule.
The non-conference schedule was so bad or easy I thought at a minimum KP gets 9 wins and could get at least another 3 wins in conference. With some improvement possibly a few more wins. It’s hard to believe with this schedule they have looked this bad. KP has truly been that bad.
The non-con schedule was setup for KP to show improvement and get some easy wins and he still couldn’t do it.

SIXTEEN?!?!?!?!?!!!!!! This team is projected to win 1 more game the rest of the year. They’ll win 3 more games at absolute most the rest of the way.
Man, to be young and full of hope like I was mere months ago. Now I'm jaded and hate the basketball world.
That o/u was predicted on June 8, but now I would be at 9 o/u.
