I've had a couple of pairs of Ray Ban prescriptions. Never been super happy with polycarbonate lens quality. I'm sitting here contemplating pulling the trigger on a pair of Costa 580G in Saltbreak frames. Black Friday means they'll hit the wallet just under a band.

Are they worth it?

I’m a Maui Jim fan. I try other brands but always end up back with Maui’s. They just fit my face. I was gifted a pair of Pelagic fishing glasses, fantastic lenses but the frames just aren’t that comfortable to me.
Bought a pair at Fine Eyes in Ridgeland a clopped months ago. Pricy. But well worth it. As you say the fit is outstanding. And the lenses are so much better than regular sunglasses.

I’ve got Ray Ban frames for my prescription now. Wore the brand for years as regular sunglasses, but the quality seems down now. Have a pair of Costa wire frames from my last prescription that I wore for two years, and I’m thinking about using those again for my next prescription, they’re still in that good of a condition.

You can't order MJ prescriptions online and a store told me they couldn't order with glass lenses.

Of the brands I've tried, Oakley and Maui Jim are the only ones that haven't given me headaches.

best purchase I’ve ever made was prescription sunglasses.

Zenni for the cheap win. Love mine and if i break them, im out $70, not $400. With that said, i love Maui Jims. Most comfortable sunglasses out there.

Mine are prescription Aviators from Zenni. I have been 100% happy with everything I have gotten from them. IIRC cost me about $70
Same. My regular glasses are from them too with transitions and they are great….these not Aviators tho. They have a lot of choices at great prices.

I've bought several prescrip sun glasses from Zenni and I've been very happy with them. Plus they are very price competitive.

I carried my ray band to the eye doctor and had my prescription put in them.

My wife has been an optician for years so I have had Costa, Maui Jims, Smiths and Oakley's. As my vision has gotten worse I have never been happy with them for prescription purposes. 2 years ago I got Flexon frames with a magnetic Polarized clip-on lens. I absolutely love them. I need bifocals so this has been the best solution if you need a real prescription and not just readers.

I have some Costa frames with third- party lenses from one of the websites. They’re not bad, I just don’t love the frames. Ordered them without trying them on first.
I want to replace them but can’t justify what they cost. I generally can’t get the cheapest lenses with my prescription.
My wife had a pair of Ray Bans she’s had for a lot of years, no complaints at all from her. I believe they came from LensCrafters.
