The prediction thread got me thinking. Most reasonable posters, including myself, have us in the 7-8 win range with some extra wooly 9+. Being that we play in the premier divison in college football, we could win 7 games and our record not indicate how good a team we are. What if we played in the ACC?
Lets pretend we are NC State, here is there schedule
2011 WOLFPACK FOOTBALL SCHEDULE
Sept. 3 - LIBERTY
Sept. 10 - at Wake Forest
Sept. 17 - SOUTH ALABAMA
Sept. 22 - at Cincinnati (Thursday), ESPN, 8 pm
Oct. 1 -GEORGIA TECH
Oct. 8 - CENTRAL MICHIGAN
Oct. 15 - OPEN
Oct. 22 - at Virginia
Oct. 29 - at Florida State
Nov. 5 - NORTH CAROLINA
Nov. 12 - at Boston College
Nov. 19 - CLEMSON
Nov. 26 - MARYLAND
The only problem games I see on there schedule is at FSU (the toughest), followed by at BC, Ga Tech and Clemson at home. I really think we could win 10 with a slight sluggers chance at going undefeated.
The real question is, as a fan would you rather go 7-5 in the SEC or 10-2 in the ACC?
