After going back and looking at that thread, I believe that we are performing exactly how most of us projected. 8-4 seemed to be the consensus before the season started.

You're right, we can't really be upset if we win even 1 of the next 2. I think most of the frustration comes from Arky and Auburn being down, so we had an opportunity to make a big move and didn't capitalize on it. 9-3 would still be an amazing season considering where we were just a few short seasons ago, and 8-4 is nothing to be upset about.

9-3 and 5-3 in the SEC would be capitalizing...Hell, Mississippi went to 2 Cotton Bowls with and only got to 5-3 one of those seasons, they were 4-4 the other...the SEC is just insanely good right now
