Pretty amazing feat this past Saturday..leading up to Fort/Galax

Steven Peoples, (Galax, VT) And Daniel Hamm, (Fort Chiswell, UVA) both scored rushing tds for their respective schools. Who would've ever thought we'd see two running backs from the MED score TDs at ACC schools on the same day. Pretty cool for this region. Goes to show just how much both of these programs have improved in the past decade. Best of luck to both of these young men going forward.

I had heard them say often on UVa telecasts that Hamm was from Wytheville, so I assumed he was a GW product. Where exactly IS Fort Chiswell?

Fort is exit 81 where 77/81 merge. Max Meadows VA to be exact. A beautiful place.

Wythe County has three High Schools
Fort Chiswell, George Wythe, and Rural Retreat. The city/town is Wytheville in the county.
