What do you think ?

They beat WKU by 4 TDs and we are probably 1 or 2 TDs better than WKU.

I think Alabama is legit. They always are, but it would be interested if we surprised a lot of critics and somehow stayed close with them. You never know.

The fact that Saban said we dont belong in the SEC....to me means he is gonna wanna prove that next weekend. I think we lose by 30 plus

So I say 0% chance we upset them and about 5% chance we stay within 30

I must've missed this. When did Saban say this?

Saban USUALLY doesn't run the score up. But .... I expect UKErik's "what Kentucky must do to win" to read something like this:

Recover all 15 of Alabama's fumbles with at least 4 of them being in the end-zone for TDs.

Saben is a professional. He didn't say that but he did mention that two teams in the sec lost to teams that were in the same conference as wku leading up to their game.

Crazier things have happened...let's hope the Carolina W gives them some extra mojo.

Bama has more shut outs than any team since 2007 and we struggled to score against Florida and South Carolina. We may get shut out. I don't think we score more than 10. 49-7 is my prediction.

They will come out and rush for 250-300 yards and hold the ball for 40 minutes. Unless we get 4-5 turnovers it won't be close. Probably something like 35-7 or 42-10 imo.

It would take some random turnovers but anything can happen , you never know when a team will get a case of the fumbles . If both teams play at peak then it will be problematic to put it kindly .

So what will the staff's approach be to Bama? Our best shot to keep it close is to milk clock. Hopefully Boom, Snell, and Kemp can find a few seems and get some positive yardage on the ground. We absolutely must grind out some first downs, and not be 3 and out all the time. Pass just enough to keep the LBs and secondary honest, and then quick patterns where Johnson has less chance to get sacked. He's got to learn to throw the ball away when necessary. Can't afford negative plays or penalties with a highly superior team. Ball security and a decent number of first downs should enable us to chew up some clock. Bama will probably score just about every possession they have, so essential to limit their possessions. Make them use a long field and limit the big play...make them run clock. Something like 28-3 looks and feels a lot better than 56-10 or 65-14. Of course, the key will be the OL creating a few running lanes. Will be a very hard task, but that is how I would approach this game, and then hope that Bama makes a few mistakes along the way and that we can capitalize on them. Just remember, every once in a while strange things happen in this game of FB.

I do not think we will be able to run the ball even with Snell and Boom. I think we must sell out on D on getting to Quarter back send no less the 5-6 every play. Offense we must pull out every trickoration we can mustar. I think even do unexpeted onside kicks and fake punts. With that being said we need 10-12 turnovers LOLZ. Might as well have some fun and try some stuff.

I'm going to say we have a 40% chance to keep it within 3 touchdowns. Is that close?

This is a good week to find out who wants to prove they can play, and move up the depth chart. All 3rd and 4 th stringers complaining about playing time here's your chance to step up and move up the depth chart. You want playing time earn it this week.

I apologize. I read that Saban said that in another thread on here. Multiple people posted that as fact and I assumed they were right. So by assuming Im an ***.

He said that two SEC teams lost yo teams in WKUs conference. So not a big shot at us. I sincerely apologize for posting that.

No stats about "keeping it close" but 32 point 'dawgs (opening line) win about 1% of the time. So, yeah, there's a chance. [laughing]

We won't score 10 points and will lose by 30ish. The good thing is that Saban isn't one of those run up the score kinda guys who will lay 70 on you in a heartbeat. Even though they could name the score he will keep it under 50. We could play better and the game will still look like the one we played against Florida.

It'll be a baby seal beating. Thankfully Saban is not known for running up the score. Less than 0.1% chance to win the game.
