It's a shame to see such a good outing through 5 turn so bad. This is on the head coach.
BUT, think of the S*** Storm on here and other boards 'if' State had been shelled by OM. Cohen would have been called every name in the book for even thinking about starting Laster, giving him his
FIRST EVER start against our biggest rival. It may have even been the only choice he could make and save arms for the early weekend.
Instead, we may have 'found' two arms that can really help in the coming weeks; sure helped my confidence in them.
I don't agree with everything Cohen does; we bunt too much; our 'aggressive' base running gives me heartburn; BUT he is the one that has to make those choices and he looks like a genius starting Laster and bringing in Tatum, and getting Rea back in the lineup for the backbreaking double.
