I’m sure it seems like I’m constantly crapping on our football program and maybe I am, but isn’t this now the 3rd O line portal pick up from just a few months ago that is now transferring out?
I mean, if they’re not helping us, then cut bait. Fine. But WTF were we doing with our talent evaluations during the first portal window? This is a complete waste of months of practice

Another guy that some of us said would never play. This is the SEC. Sure some can make the jump but not many. We were just filling out the backside of the roster and he thought he might actually play. No sir.
Just like some of us said in December. These OL transfers looked awful. These two transferring out got cut after the tryout. The guy coming in from Virginia looks like a legitimate player though.
We've got a new OL coach and guys that can't get it done get shown the door. That's how you utilize the portal. Kids can leave if they get offers, and kids can be cut if they aren't getting it done.
It’s a last resort desperation strategy because you completely missed on any legitimate recruits. But yeah, if you can’t get anyone better it’s about the best strategy left. And to his credit, Lebby knows and is working to fix the problem. The recruit from Virginia is the best OL news I’ve heard in a long time.
I'm not the biggest believer in Lebby and there is no excuse to go 2-10 but after listening to T&L this morning and seeing not a single player even getting mentioned for the draft, he was dealt a pretty bad hand. It's embarrassing how bad this football roster was
They purposely took players for a tryout. I think we knew cuts were going to happen.
Sounds like our offensive line may be a crapshoot. We have no idea what kind of line we will have until it hits the field.
I have a pretty good idea. It will be a lot like my last colonoscopy. Except without the anesthesia. Or the lube.
We had transfers who were decent G5 linemen last year hit the portal because they were down the depth chart after Spring. We also picked up decent P4 linemen this week, and we’re still offering transfers.
Can't be all that bad. He's got an agent. So far, just this season we have 29 players who have left MSU and 27 who have come in. That'll keep a fanbase interested in buying season tickets. One thing is for sure, I haven't given one plug nickel to the NIL nor do I ever plan to.

If a team can drop/add in such a way as to improve their roster and win.
However if we go through another year of 0-8. We will go from Vandy type crowds in 25 to USM crowds in 26.
Nobody will give a damn about a season ticket or the comings and goings of unknown players.
Also you don't have to like the rules but everyone now has to play by them. It's kind of like Kiffen this year. He can't fake injuries anymore.
That being said, the new rule is likely going to screw Kiffen over this year because he abused the system. When his qb gets hurt, he's going to have to take time outs now. Not a good time to be losing your qb on a year you undecided underachieved and have the last year of as fluff of a schedule you're going to get.
