May regret saying this but sure looks like that initial sequence completely gassed Bailey.

I don't know if I've ever seen someone choose bottom and get down as fast as he did. Davis knows he's winning.
Scooter didn’t take real shots in 3rd.
Bailey did nothing after the first couple of minutes.
tough one for Davis. He had Bailey gassed. But he needed a few more clean shots to force a 2nd stall call, to tie it up, or to get a TD.

Davis should have cut him loose in the second . He just allowed Baily to hang out on the bottom
How does Bailey lie on his stomach the entire 2nd and never get a stall call?
I think Davis gassed himself with the ride in the second.
Tom sure would have thought the amount of time Bailey was either flat on his stomach or forehead on the mat during that ride would have earned a stall?
Davis never really put together a solid shot in the 3rd when Bailey looked gassed.

Breaden did great for his second match out of red shirt, no shame in that match. Didn't look like he has all his lungs back yet.

Yep, that was part of my thinking with the predictions. Still had every chance to win, though.

I had no idea what to expect in the Davis-Bailey bout, but not surprised it was close.
Shayne is so much better than this guy. Stop F’ing around.
SVN letting guys get to his Legs way too much. He should bonus this guy being ranked #1 in the Country.

Davis looked like he's still a couple pounds heavy and a wee bit out of shape. He'll get there.
As long as you see a bit of effort, you (as a ref) usually give the bottom guy some leeway. Grosso did go down on one knee and speak to him, which I was suspect was him telling to improve (basically a ref warning that you either show some effort or I'm going to hit you with a stall call).
From my perspective, Grosso called that correctly. As I said in my post, Davis needed a couple of cleaner shots in the 3rd to make it clear that Bailey wasn't doing anything. Instead, he took some poor shots that Bailey could block with little effort, and without backing up.
