Hopefully Zain can teach him how to create an angle on his shot as well…Davis needs to work out with Zain everyday to the big ten tournament. Get good in all 3 positions and Really Work on turning guys on Top. Be Super Physical on Top creating pain. Perfect the Bow and Arrow. In addition his conditioning will be great. Will see.
I know Braeden lost at Iowa but I'm starting to see glimpses from him. I think he's better than he's ever been. Not much to go from I know but he just looks more sound in everything he's doing.Davis needs to work out with Zain everyday to the big ten tournament. Agree. Just looks sharper and avoiding those risky scrambles he got into last year that usually cost him. Think Davis is going to do well. Needs a big win here coming up in the regular seasonI know Braeden lost at Iowa but I'm starting to see glimpses from him. I think he's better than he's ever been. Not much to go from I know but he just looks more sound in everything he's doing.
I actually disagree with those who say he is not as strong at 141 as before at 125 and 133: I have seen most this year and Davis looks like one of the strongest 141 pounders out there. His ride is absolutely brutal. Just needs to keep doing what he is doing. Damn right he can get on the podium in March.I know Braeden lost at Iowa but I'm starting to see glimpses from him. I think he's better than he's ever been. Not my h to go from I know but he just looks more sound in everything he's doing.
He actually looks big at 141. How was he 125 two years ago? LOL.I know Braeden lost at Iowa but I'm starting to see glimpses from him. I think he's better than he's ever been. Not much to go from I know but he just looks more sound in everything he's doing.

Per somewhere on another thread, at least 5I think we’re looking at another shutout. Too bad we didn’t shutout Iowa on Friday. This would make it 5 in a row. I wonder what the NCAA record is for most consecutive shutouts.
I actually disagree with those who say he is not as strong at 141 as before at 125 and 133: I have seen most this year and Davis looks like one of the strongest 141 pounders out there. He should worry about his own program. Total embarrassment.Storniolo applied for the Oklahoma job a few years ago. He is friends with a friend of mine who has connections to OU. He was bitching about not getting the job at Northwestern’s social in Philly last year. Called Roger Kish “a Peter Griffin looking mf’er.” Hahaha
True, also their lone backup 157 has not wrestled this year at all. They have one 165 on their roster. He INJ defaulted then MFF’d out of Midlands. He came back last weekend but lost by TF Friday, so he may not be 100%. If so, I’m not going to give him a hard time for noping out of a match against Mesenbrink.
welp, there goes my prediction197- #1 Josh Barr vs. Alex Smith

Here we go! Smith shoots immediately, but Barr blocks him off. Barr shoots, but they go out of bounds, neutral restart. Barr shoots a double, but Smith blocks him off. Soon as I posted this is saw a tweet from Pyles about what Ben was talking about and that he thinks he knows what it is. And then saw Ben tweeting about it.Ben Askren was right, PSU has become very good at not getting caught in a scramble by opposing wrestlers and finishing the takedown. Ben said he watched film and figured out what they are doing and he's stealing it to teach his kids. Lol
I wish he had a full year to grow into the weight. I do think he's gonna get horsed around a bit by bigger 141sI know Braeden lost at Iowa but I'm starting to see glimpses from him. I think he's better than he's ever been. Not much to go from I know but he just looks more sound in everything he's doing.
yesQuestion, JB said this is one of the smallest mats we will see. My wife said she thought all mats were the same size. I always assumed the circle was the same but the rest after the circle could differ.
What is the rule, can the circles be different sizes?
PSU's intern will get around to it just as soon as they update Cenzo's weight from 149.Branden Wentzel was on the trip and weighed in at 125 but I don't see him on the roster online odd. He's listed in track and certed. Pat needs to add him
That’s a 20:1 ratio! Another record?380 to 19 team scoring differential now.
I have noticed this now a few times with Marcus. He is great at keeping his hands low in scrambles and catching an opponent's ankle. That is just a ridiculous td! What is that kid supposed to do? Truly beautiful from Marcus
Agree with this as well. Neutral Offense and Defense definitely needs to improve. Do that and he can place high on the Podium at the Big Ten tournament in the BJC and Nationals. Wrestling RBY can improve him in that area. Will see we have some big matches coming up soonLooked plenty strong to me. His primary problem is the same - Neutral Offense against quality competition. When he tries to get on his Neutral Offense against high quality opponents, his defense goes bye-bye.
Good lord. I mean I take the dogs out for a walk in the woods, and by the time I get to the winery for a post walk drink this thing is over. Still… an awfully nice day to be outside in the valley.
I don't know but he must really like the taste of Resilite. I don't think he even tried to lift his face off the mat once in 7 minutes.Who this A Hibler guy.
