Duke without Bolden and Zion is garbage. They may end up 2 seed in our bracket but whatever. Bring it.
Coby White is insane- if UNC wins it all again, can Roy be the third greatest coach of all time behind Wooden & K???
Still say we must win sec tourney to get a 1. They will punish UK if we lose Sunday. Don't sleep on Michigan or msu. The committee would love to give one of them midwest 1.
North Carolina is truly the team benefiting from Zion— gonna get a 1 seed because of the Duke label
Duke right now is not a top 15 team. Getting Zion back I think puts them back in the top 10 but that is about it especially sinc Bolden is probably done for the year. UK UNC UVA and Gonzaga are the 1 seeds .
Nope we do need to beat LSU on Saturday though. We do that we are locked in as the 3rd overall seed.
3 Titles, 5 final appearances- if he goes back to back, who do you have at Third ??
With Zion or not, Duke and UNC will be set up to only meet in a possible championship. In 2015 they put Notre Dame who had won 30+ games, ACC title and had beaten Duke 3 times as the 3 seed in our region. Kansas was our 2 and the region we had for the FF was matched with Wisconsin, Arizona etc. Duke had a much easier route and we were overall undefeated #1.
Sorry, but any stats he accumulated at unCHEAT are far, far from credible.
Not to us, but most everyone else doesn't pay attention though and thinks Cal is a bigger cheater because ESPN said so...
The execution these last 5 minutes by both teams has been turrible. Just turrible.
I'm sure they would, even if we won the SEC tourney. I mean, heck...they play in the (gasp) ACC!!!
Best case rest of way might be something like this
Kentucky wins SEC tournament beating Tennessee along the way
Louisville knocks off North Carolina in the quarters depriving Duke a shot at a win over them
Duke then beats Louisville but loses to Virginia
The hopes of this would be for the committee to give Kentucky the #1 in the South and Duke #1 in the MW.
We get the coveted seed and region and Duke is not in our bracket nor even in our final 4 side.
#1 Virginia
#2 Gonzaga
#3 Kentucky
#4 Duke

Not a UNC- and UNC should be punished- but people still have Wooden at #1 with Gilbert, so obviously people don't care about UNC, which is sad....
Still want to see them lose some at full strength. Other than Gonzaga that hasn't happened
Duke is now shooting 30.6% from 3 so of course they launched 32 of them tonight. That is putrid and stupid.
What if UVA loses in semis somehow and Duke wins tourney??
I think the Committees goal is to get 3 ACC teams 1 seeds..
