Really interesting stats here.

Haven't looked it over extensively, but a cursory observation reveals a few things:

1. We attempted more passes between 5-9 yards than anyone. A little surprising.

2. We don't throw behind the line of scrimmage (only TCU & Baylor did it less). Not surprising. We need to develop a screen game.

Ronny, can you believe this guy?

he's trying to tell us we don't throw "lateral passes."

That was back in 2011, what Ronny was making fun of. You know, the year our offense actually DID suck. But not because of any QB. Because of the OL.

Those stats are useless because it probably wasn't all of our games and we don't know WHICH games they charted...

"I thought Tyler Bray would come off looking much better than this. Part of this is because he throws a lot of balls away, and part is because two of the Tennessee games we charted were against Alabama and Florida, perhaps the two best defenses in the country. So the sample is unfair to him. But his numbers are really unimpressive. Adjusting for opponent, they would still probably only be neutral, not good."

Yeah, I saw that later on. It includes five of our games.

Not sure which five, although I'm pretty sure our game vs. Bama is included since they did 11 of their games.

It would be cool if they did this for every conference game next season. That's 56 games total. Probably some valuable information to be gleaned.
