My daddy is a huge State fan and I heard him tell his friend the other day that Mike Slive (SEC Commissioner) did not like State at all. I don't know if that's true or if he was just saying it but does anyone know if it's true and why doesn't he like us if it's true?

Anybody remember which game this was? I've still got the picture, just don't feel like going through all those games of photos looking for it.
Allow me to correct that......obligation to not give a **** what happens to all the sec programs that dont make equitable profits for the sec. Not save bammer.
During the Renardo Sidney saga, Finebaum said Slive told MSU not to sign Sidney. Obviously we did not follow that guidance and it blew up in our face. Add that to our involvement in the Scam Newton issue (although we were likely innocent) and you can see where Slive could have some anger toward us.
We did it last year and was going to do it this year until someone made the point no NW fans could sign up.

What did Slive do when Jarvis broke the record? What's he doing in the picture that you're talking about?
