Question about Thames and Whitley

Can they play CB? I ask this because we have Johnathan Banks and Cameron Lawrence committed, and they probably will end up as safeties.

Now, I know that Nikoe Whitley hurt his knee- ACL?- this season. And I know that both are listed as safeties at the college level, although I know that Thames can also play WR. Whitley is listed at 5'11" and Thames is listed at 6'0", which would be ideal sizes for CB's. Thames runs a 4.4 40 per Scout, so I could see him possibly playing CB as well.

If not, I would say that we really need to make CB priority #1 next recruiting season.

I would definitely think so. Matter of fact, I pointed out the other day that I thought Thames could play CB, and some rebel busted me out for it... But oh well

But yes, with his speed and size, I think he'll be a great CB if need be. Although, AJ will just be a redshirt Junior next season, so that will give us a solid CB on one side for the next two seasons...

is now very intrested in state. He is now moving his offical visit up. Also Langsn said he was comming in to play CB.

I think Thames stays at safety or moves to WR. Not too sure about Whitley, I know he was impressive covering Wr's at a couple of camps this year, so it could be possible. Apparently, we may be going after a pure CB for this class. Pat Miller was mentioned in the bones tonite. They said he's wanting to move his official visit up and is starting to have some serious interest in Msu. He looks to have the speed and quickness for a solid CB. Hopefully, we can land him.
