Question for the Ole Miss guys.

no one gives a damn about homecoming. It's just another game against a bad team. Homecoming is always one of the smaller crowds of the year. I'm sure next weekend will have a good crowd.
like myself, and back to back weekends simply aren't possible. It's a non conference game, those simply are always more sparsely attended. I wish we had more but people are disappointed, and it was a crappy team.
And I wouldnt call it a beautiful day either. I worked out in it Saturday and I would not categorize it as nice. First real cold day of fall up here which makes it feel even worse.
We have home games scheduled for 3 straight weeks: Bama, UAB, and Arkansas. For the fans that have to travel any distance, especially those with children, 3 straight weekends is a pretty tall task. If you are going to skip one of the 3, it's probably gonna be UAB.
We play 6 out of 7 weeks at home. The UAB and UNA game attendances are/were going to take a hit because of that. I thought we'd still top the 50k mark, but it is what it is.
Some people do have lives outside of their college football team. For instance, I have a ton of stuff I've been needing to do around my house, and the weekends are my only time to get it done. I chose to go to Bama and Arkansas but skip UAB so I wouldn't have to wait 2 months before having an open weekend. I guess that makes me a bad Rebel.
If we were 5-0 coming into the UAB game, I'd have done the same thing.
