Question for the Pack. Doubt this will ever be Mississippi State related.

Who do you have winning the national championship and why. I'm going with Georgia because their path to the final is much easier than the other contenders.

Considering there are SEC teams not in the playoff who could beat 80% of the teams that are I have to go SEC. Since I am going SEC I would have to say the two best teams in are TX and GA. I don't know how the injuries are going to affect GA so I am going to have to go TX. I would rather have GA than TX win it. Tenn will make a run. What worries me about them is the fact our defense stopped their offense with four downs to get the ball into the endzone from the two-yard line.

If TX could ever get their sh*t together, I think they’re the best team in the country. But there’s just something not right with that team to me. They haven’t played to their potential all year. And they d only been tested twice & lost both games even though they should have won the 2nd one easily. If Oregon didn’t have such a tough draw, I’d pick them. But that draw is brutal.

Any single pairing is unlikely, but if you made me pick, I'd predict a third Texas / Georgia game in the final.

I'm pulling for Texas, Oregon, or Georgia just to prove to these NIL debbie downers that money doesn't matter...

Oregon is the only undefeated team, the clear number one, and their reward is by far the toughest path to the title. It’s absurd. Conference champions automatically getting a top four seed is ridiculous. Especially when one of those champs is the Mountain West and another is the Big 12, which was awful this year. Conference champs in basketball don’t automatically get one seeds in the NCAA Tournament. Oregon got absolutely screwed. If they win the championship, they will have deserved it.

Not going out on a limb here but it feels like it’s going to be Oregon, Georgia or Texas.
Oregon’s draw is absolutely insane for the top seed. Just madness. Georgia has the clearest path. Texas would presumably have to go through Oregon. With those facts, I’d lay my money on Georgia.
Tennessee or Ohio State are talented enough to make a run but I don’t see them putting together a 4 game stretch good enough. It’s a long road through that bracket.
Penn State has to love the draw they got. But I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they lost in either of the first 2 rounds.
There’s just so much that can happen. It’s a fun format. It would probably be better as far as picking the best team if they seeded 1-12 without regard to conferences, but unpredictable is fun.
