They play in groups with their friends that are in the tournament so they seem to be more relaxed and spend a few extra minutes on each green putting to random spots. Plus they interact with the fans a good bit on that day - the only down side is that tee times are not posted.

I entered the lottery for practice round tickets and didn't get them. I then bought some off of StubHub but haven't received the actual tickets yet. Has anyone received theirs or, if not, do you know when they are typically distributed?

The weather was perfect. Another plus is they let you bring in cameras. I took several hundred pics.

I might be making this up, but I could have sworn they had pairings and times posted last year. Granted, the times were very rough/unreliable, but it did give you a little idea.

Anyhow, even if you are just a casual golf fan, I would recommend going to the Masters simply to see the course if you have the chance. The conditioning on every square inch of that course is so perfect it almost seems fake. I was in awe of the place the entire time I was there. Unreal.

How many years did you apply before being selected?

How many consecutive years have you won?

I've heard that most people never win the first year, but that it's usually year 2 or 3 that they are drawn for tickets.

They will post who's on the course on signs at the course gates (on the front entrance, after you get into the area with the gift shop and museum, head toward the entrance gates to the course itself. There should be signs there with info.)

Agreed on the course. It's overwhelming how perfect it is.

Been on the list for about 12 years, with one win. It took me about 7 years to win that one time, and I haven't won since.

A buddy and me have been entering for the last 5 years and neither has been drawn for anything. Don't know if this is normal or just our crappy luck

anyone who has never been there and is a sports fan (or not even a sports fan) has to make it a priority in their lifetime to go see this place. It cannot be described - you just have to see this place.

$200 for Mon, 300-400 Tuesday and 5 for Wed. That's what I'm hearing in Augusta this week

One of those is this year and mine is for Wednesday. My least favorite day as they close the course for play around 1 or 2pm and do the par 3 thing for the rest of the day. But, it will be fun. I have been 1/2 dozen times though invitations with friends.

We don;t get tickets. We normally get out of town for spring break. Most people I work with are able to get tickets but some are thru friends etc and we get some freebies at work occasionally thur vendors. For the first time in many years they are opening the final 4 days actual tourney tickets for the lottery which they haven't done in 15 years or so.
