Kvb, I'm a bit shocked. It almost sounds like you are supporting the Russians. Seems like you don't think the Russians are any threat to the U.S.
No, no ex pat, not at all. I've distrusted those Vodka sipping Communists since Brzezinski kicked the bucket. I actually do think they tried to disrupt our election process, but their only successful hit was the Dems who were too stupid to install some software to block their phishing malware.
If Trump was scheming with those snakes to undermine Hillary then he or whoever else was involved with it should fry...and I'd have no problem with it. However if you remember ex-pat, during that last debate when Trump was asked if he'd accept the results of the 'legitimate' election? He responded "we'll see" and got raked over the coals by both Hillary and Obama who insisted there was no way our election could be tampered with by the Russians or anyone else.
That was when Hillary was well in the lead by the famous "Media predictions". Of course all of that changed after she lost, and then all of a sudden the Russians somehow managed to screw everything up. So really ex-pat I'm a bit skeptical of all the Russian hysteria.
Did they try to screw with our election?
Yes.
Were they successful?
No.
They didn't effect my vote, and the scum that came to the surface through those damaging Democrat e-mails was all their own fault. Hillary was a terrible candidate and she is the one who messed up her excellent shot to become our first Female President.

all political hacks and big Government bureaucrats in
both parties. I don't think
any of 'em really give a damn about you and me, and all they
really care about is getting elected and staying elected so they can all get to decide who gets to spend that big pile of cash they collect down there in D.C.
All we're commenting on is their egotistic self-centered fights over it. Maybe it's just my default position skeptical of Government being an ex-reporter? Maybe it's because in some of my better days, I unearthed so much blatant corruption and disrespect for the taxpayer's money that I'm forever distrustful of smiling glad handing politicos who promise the World and deliver pure Hell.
Trump was my last choice in a field of many good Republican candidates. None of my other preferences to him were able to convince enough voters they could rescue us from Leviathan. Ironically, I've become just as distrustful of the big main News Media, who I'm sorry to say have now joined the lovers of Leviathan promoting confiscatory taxation and big Government income redistribution along with the peddlers of it. (Statist Leftists)
So I argue against those in this forum who are both trying to destroy Trump, and delay our Freedom from Leviathan. I'm not sure Trump's our answer...but right now he's all we've got. I don't trust him, but I do think he at least loves the country and is also equally distrustful of big Government so we'll see?
But just for you and me ex-pat, I hope they do catch whoever is behind these leaks (I suspect some deep State bureaucrat) and locks their asses up as I hope we also tell the Russians if they're behind it that we'll lock them up too (in a different way) to make sure they never can do this to us again or will never feel bold enough to try.
