Damn. That sucks. Hope Dead & Co does something for him.
Kind of ironic he passed away the day after the PAC 12 is officially gone.
He was definitely one of a kind. A great player with sometimes a polarizing personality. they don't make them like this anymore. Crazy as hell.
If there was ever a guy who didn't give a damn about "peer pressure".....he was it. R.I.P. Bill

Friend of mine sent this to me about an hour ago. What a great story. You could tell it meant a lot to him that they wanted to go to the show with him. It’s a FB link, so my apologies for that.
I think he went 18/19 that game. Incredible performance in any game, but more so in a national championship game.
Hopefully he is now in a place where he really can smell colors and feel sound.
I actively avoided watching games that had him as commentator, but I recognize he was loved by many.
