Yeah that was a regular in my household as a kid and as an adult. Probably my favorite sit com ever. My bro and I still sit around and watch marathons of it. RIP Demond.

This is one of those shows that's fun to go back and watch again. As a kid, I didn't really "get" the premise. I liked Lamont and it pissed me off how mean Fred was to him . I did like how mean he was to his deceased wife's sister. Man, I hated that woman. I think that's how I learned the term old battle ax.
