I doubt that there are many posters on this board, which have shed more blood, sprained more muscles, or felt the anguish while playing sports than this poor old soul. But, at the end of the day ... it's just a game! A game you are not even playing in! BTW key word here is "playing."

I've sold my soul so many times for sports victories. I'm sure I'm way overdrawn. Rutgers, Yankees. Cowboys and mostly the Devils. There is something about the intensity of hockey playoffs you're willing to sell your soul, your house, your family...for that one overtime goal!

If you notice,the date on that magazine is Oct.25,1929,4 days before the stock market crash and the start of Great Depression I.I hope that we weren't the Fort Sumter of that.
