You don’t know who this man is Or if he was “ falsely“ accused. BYU simply said after editing out audio and looking at footage no one else has seen ( where were those cameras again? Because they weren’t on Dukes bench or where players serve the ball on a court). That they couldn’t prove a specific person did what had been reported. That doesn’t mean he didn’t do something— they couldn’t prove he did or not- but of course people who were there said it was so loud they wouldn’t have been able to tell either way.

Again, has BYU stated the Duke team lied? No they have not.

Meanwhile the specific player was named and you are accusing her of lying with no corroborating evidence. Wonder why that would be?

So, you have come out and stated that this ABSOLUTELY did happen. Then, when evidence showed it didn't, it COULD have happened, to now it MIGHT have happened even though no evidence exists that it did?

Yes, the girl was named and yes she lied. EVIDENCE proves she did. You know, evidence, or proof, the things that emotionally immature folks like you refuse to follow. If evidence comes forth that proves she told the truth - then great. You can beat your chest about it. But, it hasn't to this point and it won't because there isn't any.

You want to know why you are made fun of and people call you "socialist" et. al? It's because you don't believe in the foundational beliefs that America was built upon - Constitutional rights - like one is innocent until PROVEN guilty. This is true in the court of law but also in the court of public opinion.

BYU hasn't come out and said she lied? It's because they have class.

South Carolina's women's basketball team refused to play BYU over this incident. Over a false accusation, at this point.

What should happen to Dawn Staley if suppose, every team in the B12 that was scheduled to travel to USC suddenly refused to go? Suppose they got other teams around the country to refuse to play USC until Dawn Staley either apologizes to BYU or gets canned for putting politics ahead of her job?

Should it happen? Probably - make idiots like Staley eat some humble pie.
Will it happen? Not on your life. The backlash would be too severe.

So, a player COULD hear it down on the court.....with it being a "record crowd"......but fans sitting near the alleged statement could not? Again, use simple logic here. If you are 15-25 feet from someone who yells something, even in a crowd, you are more likely to hear it than a player on the court, 50-60 feet away, hearing the same yelling and scream from ALL directions.

Logic and Bucky don't go together.
