In regards to Baker, my memory might be off, but I'm almost positive it was Baker himself who wanted to play DT against recommendation of the coaches. Or I could be thinking of Zach Potter. Another one who should have been a TE or OT.

We never saw his talent as he was busy rotting away on the DL.

How dense are you? He was NEVER going to play in the NFL no matter what. Didn't matter where he played. We had NOTHING at DT and he filled the need. He was even more undersized to play OT than he was to play DT.
