For anyone who wants the 4 minute summary of the Midnight Hammer operation from the main man in charge. They dropped 14 MOPs. That's a whole lotta big boom...

You're welcome to not bring politics into this thread. It would be appreciated.

I supported the lsu tiger nil fund yesterday by spending about 100 dollars at canes yesterday for a family lunch. The catering/tailgate cost for chicken tenders bread slaw and fries for about 7 is still cheaper than ordering individually

I remember Schnellenberger started their winning ways but they peaked with Jimmy Johnson. I never did like that program, a lot of bad behavior and not many scholars.

Reminds me of the opening night of Desert Storm. B-52s flew all the way from Barksdale AFB to near Iraq, launched their cruise missiles and turned around and went home. 36 hour flight.

I watched them fly over my house leaving BAFB after 9/11, had a coworker whose husband was on the flight crew, she came to work a nervous wreck. We told her to go home but said she wanted a distraction. Later that day we bombed Afghanistan.

I'm glad that technology is on our side. It's scary as 18 (17 + 1...it's just that scary) the capability our military has. To be able to send a plane that big carrying that kind of ordinance all the way across the world non-stop and then go over enemy air space to drop those bombs and the first clue they have you're there is when your base turns into a Roman candle.

I grew up next to Barksdale. Our neighborhood swimming pool was at the end of the flight line. I loved watching the B-52s take off, as well as the detachment of A-10s that were stationed there.

I lived on Airline just North of I-220, saw the Space Shuttle fly in on the back of a 747, my wife worked right off the flight line and saw President Bush fly in on 9/11.

That’s wild. I saw the original space shuttle/747 piggie back at BAFB back in the 80s.

People always underestimate our military's capabilities and overestimate what our advesaries can do.

Yes, but to be fair, Israel did a ton to clear the way for this to go very smoothly. Crazy to be able to fly that much weaponry into a large country's airspace and meet absolutely no resistance.
