rams vs. county teams

bored so i figured up this tidbit. since reidsville became the rams in 1969 they have an overall record of 113-10 vs. county teams. this includes 2017 thus far.
breakdown
vs. morehead 42-7
vs. rockingham county 39-2
vs. mcmichael 27-0
vs. madison-mayodan 5-1 (before mcmichael)

kinda hard to get excited about playing the other schools in this county....results may change in the future but I've been saying that for decades and it hasn't happened.....school board will probably close RSH before that ever happens...the way they are closing schools in this town, it's only a matter of time.............

Try county schools that are worth a damn.....Burns, Kings Mountain, and Crest. 21 rings in Cleveland County!!!

Our county teams are bad though.

Rockingham and Morehead have had some good teams a couple of years ago though.

would love for the county schools to get better....actually Morehead used to a real football team....Won a state title over Rockingham (now Richmond County) and finished second in state to that same team in late 1950's...also made deep runs in playoff under Coach Clayton Johnson in the late 80's and early 90's.....other than a couple of years ago tho when Morehead lost in the 3rd round to Rocky Mount.....it's been mostly a no go for the Panthers

Morehead record from 1959 til now 265-345-8
Rockingham County from 1977 (1st year of school) till now 121-309-2
McMichael from 1989 (1st yr. school) till now 83-224

So these are 3 schools mandated by the school board that Reidsville has to play every year....Pitiful I know but nothing Reidsville can do except continue their domination over them.....It is what it is.
