Your hating it legitimizes it. Who gives an F what @biggameboomer thinks, and half those "best" nicknames are stuff he thought up himself.

Silly list. But I not wild about the Birthplace either. Some of those names are simply made up.

The “Birthplace of College Football” isn’t made up like the rest. It’s a fact. I guess he just doesn’t like facts

I am sitting in a bar in Pittsburgh right know. “Yard” is Shadyside. Just ask a group of Pitt fans about “The Big Ketchup Bottle”. No one has heard of that one either. What kind of people spend time working on lists like that - very odd.

Why? It's painted in the North End zone. Rutgers embraces it!
Just don’t like it. Been going to games for over 40 years never heard anyone say “ I am going to the Birthplace to see Rutgers play. The Birthplace is not a nickname for the stadium. It is a statement of history. Silly list.

The list is **** but you can't deny that Rutgers uses it for marketing. At least the person who made this list got it right, exactly they way Rutgers promotes it. Even though the game was by the Barn on College Ave not in Piscataway. And Princeton ignores that history!

Seriously? I have lived in Arkansas for 67 years. Never once have I heard the stadium referred to as “Hog Heaven”.
I call BS on this list.
I never heard anyone refer to many of them. I doubt any Clemson fan calls it Death Valley Jr. I never heard of Pitt as the Big Ketchup Valley. I never heard any one call Beaver Stadium as Happy Valley. That more of the town area nick name.

Guys, Big Game Boomer is a known troll on Twitter. He purposefully makes lists on college sports like this to rile up fanbases. Giving it attention posting on here needs to not be done or give some context, otherwise you’re just as bad and riling up everyone on here. Look at some of the names - clearly trolling. And 50%+ of the names are completely made up by him on that list

Or what kind of peoole spend time scouring the internet for random lists or posts to get angry about?
