Google "Marinol" when you get done spouting off stuff you don't understand.

Yeah, the FDA has at least 2 approved drugs utilizing THC...and he's convinced there is no benefit to MM. For goodness sakes, they've even identified the receptors that respond. Don't waste any more of your time.

Did that AND on the first page of hits is an article by the NIH (National Institute of Health) stating that there is NO evidence of efficacy or safety of marijuana in treating any condition. The other articles that come up are all articles from MJ advocacy groups such as NORML.

If the marijuana supporters donated the type of money to political interests that the pharmaceutical lobby does then I'm sure the federal government would see things differently. The problem both ways is that we dig up studies, etc. that support our view while turning a blind eye to the ones that don't. I cant take the government at it's word on everything, those guys are so bought and paid for it's not even funny.

Just wait til i post it. I think it was done by the state. After i post it feel free to judge it accordingly but this is too serious a thing to simply say oh we have alcohol might as well have this or something.
Its a dangerous and addictive substance, period. It has medicinal benefits that i am supportive of. But cmon the stoners need to stop with the miracle plant crap. Those who live in the real world know how damaging it can be, doesnt mean you cant be for its legalization but lets be honest.

What exactly makes the stuff dangerous?

He's also convinced there's no study's out there on the efficacy of THC. These FDA approved drugs (for the public), have been on the market for years. Which means they had to have had clinical trials and studies "for years." They're out there.

Exactly, and pharmaceutical companies, being the extraordinarily conservative industry that they are, aren't generally going to align themselves with clinical studies on MJ. Otherwise, there would be a lot more THC meds on the market.

Apparently you've never seen Reefer Madness. Or the Dragnet episode where the parents get stoned and leave the baby to drown in the bath tub.

Surprisingly I have seen that Reefer Madness movie, never seen the Dragnet episode though.

By any objective measure, marijuana is not as destructive as cocaine. Also, marijuana has various well established medicinal benefits as more than half the states have recognized and provided by law.
Well there you have it, we should start handing it out to middle schoolers.
