Region A- Hampton
Region B- Dinwiddie
Region C- Broad Run
Region D- Western Albemarle

I believe these will be the top seeds in the first ratings release. I do not necessarily believe WA is the best team in their region. I think GW, Salem, and Glass are all better teams than WA. Maybe Halifax too.

I agree with you on D. It may come down to rider points from the teams they played.

Over in A, Kings Fork or Warhill might be tops. I believe both are undefeated. Didn’t Hampton get beat by Phoebus this past Thursday?
the lower half of the top 8 in A are not going to have very impressive records.

In B, there are so darn many good teams, that every team will be dangerous.
I think we can be confident that George Wythe, Huguenot, Mechanicsville, and Courtland have dug themselves a hole that will be very difficult to climb out of.

But that leaves 13 teams with an honest shot at making the playoffs.

It’s getting to that fun time of year.

Can someone sum up C? That’s a little too far north for me to have much insight in.

I’m 99% sure it is based on ratings. But, hell, I’m wrong 99% of the time, so what do I know?

I’ve reached out to a reliable source to confirm this.

I think B will come down to KG and Dinwiddie. KG should win out based on the rest of their schedule so will definitely come down to rider points.

Have you seen Varina play? They just came down from D5 and were Highland Springs biggest rival. They’re still loaded like HSHS!

Varina is in Region B too!

How is that? Varina will probably be tops. They beat 5A Hermitage and Glen Allen already. Dinwiddie and Varina will be neck and neck even with a loss. Both teams SOS is very solid.

With Varina still having to play HSHS and Dinwiddie playing TD, if they lose I think KG takes #1 going undefeated. But still regardless of overall it will come down to rider points between all 3 and if they can all finish out their schedule never knowing what happens on a week to week basis.

Varina has beaten two 5A teams and still has two 4-2 Atlee and PH teams plus Highland Springs left. KG’s best win will be over Louisa, they aren’t going to get much help from their opponents (unless they beat Lafeyette if they ever complete that game) . Dinwiddie has 5-1 GW and 6A Dale left. I just don’t see how KG will have more points even if they are undefeated.

We'll see when the points come out but I show KG has having at most 28.44-28.88 because the teams they have to play still play each other so the rider points work out same way.

Varina loses to HSHS and they finish with 27.50-28, but if they win they will definitely jump over KG.

Dinwiddie win or lose against Dale with their schedule should finish anywhere with 30-32 points.

So I guess the fight will be for #2 and #3 seeding with Dinwiddie being far above the rest.

Don’t forget, Dinwiddie still has GW on Nov 2, followed by Thomas Dale three days later. That could be a lethal mix.
