In Jimmy Carters day, we had expensive gas. But homes, cars, groceries the lot were affordable. Now look at us.

Your version of Evangelical Christianity is based out of the Puritans and is a few hundred years old AT MOST and is not representative of the historical church, theology, nor worldwide Christianity.

Honestly not sure what point you are trying to make. I've mentioned many times that I am a Church musician.
Part of my disgust with the so called "Christian Nationalists" is their complete ignorance of the Bible, and unwillingness to address the words of Jesus.
As another poster on this board has said, the MAGAS love red hats, but not red letters...
I try my best to live by the words of Jesus. I fall short everyday but I am forgiven. And I’m saved by His grace. I’m certainly not ignorant of the Bible. I’ve read it all the way through several times. I learn something new every time I read it.
You love to refer to Trump as a sinner. We are all sinners. God used many imperfect men in the Bible to carry out his plans. King David was an adulterer and a murderer. He commmited adultry with Bathsheba and had her husband killed. David was referred to as a man after God’s own heart. I firmly believe God is using Donald Trump. All part of God’s plan. You shouldn’t jokingly refer to Jesus as woke. In my opinion, that’s blasphemous.

Tell me what in the Beatitudes matches with the MAGA view of America?

I honestly believe you believe these things. You hear "woke" and you think democrat, sin, debauchery. It's exactly what you've been conditioned to believe and I really do get it.
But I promise the world is not as black and white as you've been told. Look up the origin of what "being woke" means. In the simplest terms it means to "understanding the plight of those less fortunate and those who society and the system were not set up for, thus they are held back." Being "woke" is simply "waking up" to that reality, that others have it harder, more difficult, or have a starting line way further back than alot of people in America.
The term originated in minority cultures and cultures of color, but applies broadly to socio economic status too.
Jesus was incredibly woke in his teaching, life, and his ministry to the "other" in his society and time- it was literally the entirety of his life's work.

The majority of the Left have kicked God out. Want no part of God in anything. So I’m confused by your thoughts? Because many in your party don’t want to hear about God. Many don’t even believe in God. They think men can have babies and there are more than 2 genders. And think it’s fine for men to compete against women in sports. You support Donald Trump and the acts of MAGA. Nothing about that movement aligns with the words or teachings of Jesus.
Be a Trump fan, love what he's doing, but claiming that any of this is at all Christian is flat false.

But I do humbly ask that you understand what people mean when they say a term like "woke" in a genuine manner, it isn't what you have been told it means. Or understand it to be either. That's it.

He’s an imperfect man. I didn’t vote for him because I think he’s a saint. He got my vote because of his policies and the direction he’s talking this country.
