Terrible news. I ran into Ray a few times during my time in Hattiesburg and he was always a good time. Country as a turnip green, and a great storyteller. Always the GOAT as far as I’m concerned.
One of the all time greats.
I remember my Dad talking about him and how great he was at USM.
Glad I got to see him punt in the late 70’s and 80’s while he was with the Raiders.
