I ran into some hurdles trying to donate my two extra tickets but finally found a match. The Big Brothers Big Sisters organization would love to have them. Email Steve Gilbert at [email protected]. He was very appreciative.

Yeah, it was harder than I expected...I had several organizations turn them down. Glad to know that a kid can enjoy the game and hopefully root for the dawgs. And Mr. Gilbert actually knows Coach Mullen. You're more than welcome for the info. Hopefully some of the rest of you that can't make it can send your tickets down.

I spoke with Darby at the Boys and Girls club on Riverplace blvd in Jacksonville. She was thrilled to accept them and is sending me a tax recepit.

The athletic dept Tweeted last week that they were working with some charities in Jacksonville for that reason but I haven't seen anything since about it so this looks like a good option. Also saw last nt where 3 different State fans bought 100 tickets each and donated them back for students to use. I'm not sure if you could do that w/ just a couple, or if we can find 300 students that will even show up. Sounds like somebody just needed an end of year write off and picked a good cause for it.

Somewhere else to donate if anyone is interested....

I contacted the Wounded Warrior Project in Jacksonville about donating tickets. They are interested in getting any donated tickets into the hands of our wounded warriors. I am waiting for the lady to call me back with the address to send the tickets too. Once I get it I will post it if anyone is interested.
