Quarterback, Middle Tennessee.. I believe for 2 years, but the '99 (unless I'm mistaken) game was the real beat down. That's probably the most abuse I've ever seen a QB take. It was Godawful. Even my dad commented during the second half that he felt sorry for the kid's parents if they were in the stadium having to watch.
If Diaz has the personnel in the backfield to trust in single coverage, Saturday could get similarly ugly for Smith because I think we're going to play it a little more like JLD and less like Carl Torbush. Probably not an *** whipping of such biblical proportions as Counts took, but it could get ugly.
