So since the land sharks didn’t make it there, the coach won’t take his team to see any games, but instead travel all the way to KC to watch a Royals game. M’kay.

It sounds like they are going to go to the game in KC the day before the tournament. Not really out of the way.

But kinda crappy to miss out on a CWS game at Omaha. I'd rather see a non-State CWS game in Omaha than an MLB game between two teams I don't care about.

Sounds like the coaches had figured out a good way to get their Omaha trip paid for to watch their team but Bianco's boys messed it up.

I believe Ed Easleys (EBC) teams out of Olive Branch are also playing in that tourney.

Exactly. Those kids can go see a MLB game anytime, anywhere. The CWS? Once a year in one particular spot in the middle of nowhere. "But our boys aren't in it so we'll just not go at all!"

We took our team up there when State played Arizona in the Supers. Trip was planned 6 months in advance so we had no clue State would be in a Super. Our time slot to go to a CWS game was the winner of the Arizona and State super. Thought the stars had aligned but Most M-State thing ever that we lost and we had to watch Arizona play in the CWS. Still a great experience though.

Do little league teams have mascots? If so do you think they borrowed ole Colonel Reb out of the storage closet?
