Recently Talked with Northwestern's Pat Fitzgerald

Hey guys,

I contacted the administration on the site and received permission to post this link. We recently had a chance to speak to Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald about the upcoming contest with Mississippi State. I really am excited for this bowl game, and I am happy to say that I will be in the press box in Jacksonville.

Thanks! I really expect this to be a fun game. Mississippi State and Northwestern are two of the top up-and-coming teams in all of college football, and also have two of the best coaches in the nation, in my opinion. Watching the two running backs in this game will be quite enjoyable.

Fitz

As I said on Wildcatreport, nice article. Fitz is a really approachable guy. NU's spring game is more like a family get-together (and used to have the attendance of one). He's happy to pose with kids of alumni, etc. Prepare yourself for some cheer-leading, though. Sometimes, he forgets he's no longer playing. He's a self-admitted KNUCKLEHEAD on the sidelines.
