That got a legit LOLCrying about how Colton, Wyatt, Asher, and Finn cant park their oversized lifted trucks right outside McCool Hall because 8000 other people already drove to campus that morning isnt getting much sympathy from me.

I understand you maybe haven't been to campus lately (if ever) but there is this concept of commuter parking. Virtually every school has it. But very few campuses are as large as ours. So the beef is not that Colton can't park right outside McCool. Nobody gets to park right outside McCool. But they have large lots designated for commuter parking, and they don't even have enough of that. Nevermind they made a commitment that it would be available in the first place.Yeah, cramming 3 into a dorm made for 2 is, to me, a very legit issue.
Everyone living off campus not being able to all drive onto campus and part is, to me, a totally worthless complaint.
Large universities with centralized education sectors that utilize a convenient and complete mass transit system is nice. It reduces parking lots, improves walkability, and reduces noise and congestion through the day.
The other option can be creating parking lots on the outskirts of the university and running more shuttles between there and the academic sectors of campus...but that would sometimes mean people would park further from their classes than if they didnt drive at all, so I am sure that would also be met with complaining.

That's the Academic Common Market. Arkansas gives Memphis (and Mississippi) students in-state tuition if they have a 24 on the ACT.Mississippi has a reciprocity agreement with Tennessee. Kids pay in-state tuition at State for programs that no Tenn. public university offers - landscape architecture, pgm, etc. - and vice versa. Half my graduating class was kids from Tennessee.

I am aware of the commuter lots on campus. I am aware they were overflowing 25 years ago too. And I am aware there is no parking directly next to McCool because I sure as 17 prayed for it for years while parking along Lee or Walker and inevitably being ticketed.I understand you maybe haven't been to campus lately (if ever) but there is this concept of commuter parking. I'm sure as an 18 year old, you would've loved the idea of standing outside waiting for a bus in the rain at 6:30 for an 8 AM class.
It may not be a big deal to you and that's fine. But it's a big deal to the hundreds of students and families that's impacted by it. And I hate to deflate your ego, but in this debate, your opinion is not the one that matters.
You been living in MS too long. This is an issue people in big cities deal with daily.I understand you maybe haven't been to campus lately (if ever) but there is this concept of commuter parking. We're talking about a place in MS, you dubmass. This isn't the big city. If it was, there would be better infrastructure. You been living in MS too long. This is an issue people in big cities deal with daily.
Your attempt at cuteness falls flat again. The kids with their lifted trucks make up a small percentage of kids at State. In case you've forgotten, Starkville is in the middle of nowhere. Most kids have cars because they travel to campus from long distances. There aren't trains and subways to get them into town when they need things. The bus system is woefully inadequate.I am aware of the commuter lots on campus. I am aware they were overflowing 25 years ago too. My point was that a bus system which is properly covers needed spots with frequent service is a huge benefit to universities and students.
Convincing Rhett, Beau, Carter, and Lawson's parents that their precious boys dont need to drive their lifted trucks every day is likely a challenge though.
Itd be a shift in perspective for sure.
Why don’t your leave Dr Keenum a comment in the Comment Box? We all get you’re pissed. You’ve made your point. We're talking about a place in MS, you dubmass. This isn't the big city. If it was, there would be better infrastructure.
He's gotten no less than about 1500 comments on this. But keep carrying that water. Why don’t your leave Dr Keenum a comment in the Comment Box? We all get you’re pissed. You’ve made your point.

We had JB Hunt, at least for a while. His son went to State. Not sure if he still participates or not.New Arkansan Non-Resident Tuition Award Scholarship NRTA Eligibility Map

That’s Arkansas’s border state program (along with Illinois and Georgia). It’s phenomenal. I don’t even see an ACT score minimum. MS just needs a Wal Mart, a Tyson, and. JB Hunt.
reading comprehension is never a bad idea. your and _____Here is an example. It’s not a kid I “know of”. It’s my kid. when it was all said and done he got a full ride from MSU. We never heard a damn thing from your Rebels.
