Sorry, I edited the post. That is flo's 2026 recruiting class rankingsWhat is this a ranking of?
What about Jesse Grajeda saw he visited seems like he would be a good pick up. Anyone else know who's recruting him?
Grajeda had Arizona State, Iowa, and North Carolina State on his list. What about Jesse Grajeda saw he visited seems like he would be a good pick up. Anyone else know who's recruting him?
Agreed, he tore up a knee really horribly which interrupted his development. He also wrestled at McCort at a much higher weight class than he should have been for team reasons. Everything I've heard he's a great kid and a great team mate, Bo and Jax have both shouted him out in interviews for being that under rated kid that everybody loves.McMullen has a ways to go.......
its not crazy if you have been following since 2010. Its actually standard.View attachment 946330
Damn, not breaking the top 8 for 2026 recruiting rankings is actually crazy...
You're right in not sleeping on Grajeda; he looked good in this match with Davino (stud) who was in the 2024 class and had 3 years on Grajeda (2027 class). A good source told me Grajeda really liked Iowa on the big recruiting visit. What about Jesse Grajeda saw he visited seems like he would be a good pick up. Anyone else know who's recruting him?
I've heard NC St is a possibility for Regan alsoGrajeda had Arizona State, Iowa, and North Carolina State on his list.
Borge has Missouri (his older brother flipped from Army to there), Arizona State, Nebraska, Iowa, Michigan, Penn State and Oklahoma State on his list.
Regan, I've only seen Iowa and Utah Valley State, my guess is there are more with his talent level.
BTW anyone else like Youngblut?? I know a few on here have said Nebraska and Northern Iowa are in the driver's seat.

Did you see another Jersey kid already on the team hanging around with Grajeda also?Doesn’t mean much, but Amato and Grajeda seemed to be hanging out quite a bit on the visit
Likely not great considering Miller is a true blue chipper but if he shows out well the competition for his services will get serious. As it is he has Nebraska and Okie State on his list.I thank dhabolt could be a real steal as well. Interested to see how he does against miller in folk style
He has been teched by him twice in folk style recently, so......I thank dhabolt could be a real steal as well. Interested to see how he does against miller in folk style
He teched him in Freestyle didn't he??He has been teched by him twice in folk style recently, so......
That being said, i wouldnt hold anyones results vs miller against him
I think they only wrestled freeystyle once at fargo and once at elite 8 dualsHe teched him in Freestyle didn't he??
That's what I thought also. The Fargo match is on You Tube.I think they only wrestled freeystyle once at fargo and once at elite 8 duals
It's too bad Miller is made to tag along with what Bo and his dad want to do. Be nice if the guy had free reign to decide for himself instead of just regurgitating what Bo and his dad decide, then tell him what he's doing.Lost by tech fall in fs at fargo.
Lost in folkstyle last month twice
But again, i wouldnt those results against him,.miller is just on a completely different level

Really appreciate it Tanner!!Just published by story on the Amato commitment:
Iowa keeps Jersey pipeline open, adds top 2027 prep Sonny Amato - On3
Hope you'll give it a read!
Keep in mind the younger Bachmann is in the same class as Hutcherson, so that be two good gets. People are forgetting that where Joe Bachmann goes, could potentially land the younger Bachmann also.Bassett really knocked us off our stride. We wasted a lot of effort to get him and passed on others.
if we landed Bassett, Mocco and McMullen in 2026 and started with Melvin Miller and Amato for 2027 we’d be sitting pretty good right now.
Now, if we can land Bachmann, Kenny, Regan, and Borge — we are right back in stride.
Then Hutcherson in 2028.

Kenny will be in town for who's #1 and will be around Iowa city . Others as wellA little nervous about Kenny and Nebraska. Some poster on intermat said that Kenny and Borge has been training at Nebraska since their visit this weekend.
Willie recently thought that Nebraska was in the lead for Borge. So if Kenny is staying that long with Borge, who is Nebraska lean, it makes me to think that Nebraska has the lead in Kenny’s recruitment. Especially since he is staying longer after his visit to train.
I’d be shocked if we aren’t recruiting him heavily and disappointed if we don’t land him. We have great success in the lighter weights; but I think as an Iowa fan we have learned to temper down our hopes and expectations with recruiting lol. So I’ll be disappointed but…. Not as much because of the track history we have in recruiting these past years.
Joey has been in Ames rolling around but will be stopping in Iowa City as wellKeep in mind the younger Bachmann is in the same class as Hutcherson, so that be two good gets. People are forgetting that where Joe Bachmann goes, could potentially land the younger Bachmann also.
Literally nobody is forgetting that if we land a great recruit we would have a decent shot at landing his brother.Keep in mind the younger Bachmann is in the same class as Hutcherson, so that be two good gets. Kale had a nice hot streak during that time but has yet to show enough to make him someone we pencil in anywhere. What are our chances with Paul Kenny or any other 133 prospects?
Seems like next year 133 is Kale’s Petersens spot to lose unless we are looking back to the portal. I honestly like a healthy Kale Petersen, he beat Nasir and gave Nic bouzakis a good fight his senior year in freestyle. Great work ethnic and I’m sure he can become better up a weight.
Nice, hopefully we are doing everything to land Bachmann and Kenny. Let them hangout with Leo and Angelo! Hoping we are continuing to put our best foot forward with those recruits.Joey has been in Ames rolling around but will be stopping in Iowa City as well
In WNO interview, he said he put 10 lbs on since last spring to get him in the upper 230’s. Wants to continue to put on good weight. Has plenty of time before we need him.Any other nuggets on recruiting this weekend?
Personally, I’m not nervous how Mocco progresses. I believe his ceiling is high and he’s still growing and getting bigger.
I think he was 237In WNO interview, he said he put 10 lbs on since last spring to get him in the upper 230’s. Wants to continue to put on good weight. Has plenty of time before we need him.
Same as Ben, but he is 3 years behind him, so hopefully will be at least 250’s when Ben’s age.I think he was 237
