After six weeks of the college football season, no team in the country has hosted more five-star or four-star official visitors than Nebraska.

The above is part of an email I received a few minutes ago. Outstanding work by our staff. We still need to take advantage of it, official visits are the first step. Personally, I can't wait to see how the 2017 classes closes out come February.

Tough to land big time guys when you went 6-7 last year. We are giving our selves a shot getting them to campus and being 6-0 but we have to finish to give all these guys a reason to believe we can be a playoff contender during their time here. If we just keep winning, it will have big payoffs in recruiting this year and the years to come.

Best thing we can sell is the gameday atmosphere, getting kids on campus is huge and the staff has done a great job of that. Job obviously isn't finished but it's a great start.

If I only have one sentence and my livelihood depends on my one sentence working and convincing badass's to come play football for us....

"You can hop the neighbor's fence and buy pot legally".
