This has nothing to do with football at any SEC school--it's regarding another sport where most competitive events take place in clubs--I.e. one of the Olympic sports.

Is it against NCAA rules for a high school junior prospect's club coach to post to Facebook any information about college coaches that want to talk to that Junior prospect about being recruited? I know there are specific rules against a "booster" of a University talking up a prospect on Facebook. In this situation, the club coach is not a "booster" for the University involved. It seems to be a bit of a gray area.

if the club coach is not a booster of any university, he can post whatever he wants to.</p>

Do season ticket holders that donate money to the university for bulldog club count as a booster?

Thanks patdog--all I can find online is the same, but it just seemed unclear. Jzahner1, from what I have read, anyone who gives any money to the University becomes a booster "for life" per the NCAA.

He is therefore considered a booster. What if said coach makes a comment on college choice via twitter or even worse bought the kid a meal at some point in time. This is a violation? I think this would fall under the clause where the purpose of the two crossing paths is not based solely on recruiting for a school. I really have no idea. Sounds like if you were a coach you couldn't even talk about your player to anyone because you bought season tickets for a 3-8 season! Thanks Sly!
