Apparently, Daniel isnt completely happy with his Bear commitment. He was on the phone with Coach Allen and Freeze last night for a half an hour as they begged him not to take his Auburn visit. Funny, I thought Ole Miss encouraged visits? Anyway, Daniel isnt happy with Ole Miss. They lied to him and told him that he and Kimdechee would be the bookends, yet they continue to recruit Jones, Herron, Carr, etc. The reason is the REBELS know it is a long shot to get him into school. Anyway, Coach Allen will be in Daniels house today at 4 to try and beg him one more time....

Daniel is wanting to go to Auburn. His camp has now reached out to MSU to see if we are interested and still have room.....

I really hope you're right.... But how about just one shred.

I heard last night that he was visiting Auburn this weekend, despite pleas from Ole Miss to not visit, and told my Auburn guy I didn't believe it. Maybe he was right after all.

That's like saying

A car company wants to get eyes on their cars, so they hire you to park them in front of your apartment building for a day, but you keep the car cover over it the whole time.

Rumors are rumors. It's not like there is a stenographer around these guys. Take all this stuff with a grain of salt. But also know, where there's smoke, there's fire.

How do you provide proof to that?

Do you want audio of the phone call? Text messages?

What more evidence do you need than an OV scheduled at the 9th hour to Auburn with an emergency OM in-home to assume that there is some unrest with Daniel? I don't believe his visit with Allen was previously planned. I also don't "think" Allen is his primary recruiter. It seems Freeze and Kiffin(who has been referenced as his lead recruiter) are out of in-homes with him. Is this not enough to assume there is some unrest with Daniel?

As far as there being renewed interest in us, I have no idea -- and no sources. There is circumstantial evidence in place though, which I speculated on earlier today. How would Coach go about providing "proof" anyway? Post screenshots from Brewster and Mullen's cell phones?

Something that would help us sort out

if he read/heard it somewhere legit, or it's just more blowing smoke.

It gets difficult to tell. He often has great info, but sometimes he just throws a handfull of **** at the wall to see what sticks.

Disclaimer: I'm a fan of C34

Disclaimer#2: I 17ing hate this time of year.

I have a hart time worrying too much about Daniels since everything seems to indicate it's a longshot for him to make the grades to get in.

That said, i'd still sign him if we had the room so we could place him

Sorry, but I can't see "lyle's" hard drive. I'm Nigerian, though, so just give me your IP address, username, and password, and I'll take it from there.

So do carnival workers.

People come to me because my threads get eyes on them
It's hard not to look at carnies, standing there in their ill-fitting clothes smelling of mayonnaise. Doesn’t mean you should buy the **** they’re selling. But there’s a certain clientele that just can’t resist the siren song of the carnie, no matter how many times they’ve been had.

Auburn Rivals site reports that Daniel is visiting Auburn this weekend. Also says that the Alexanders are Auburn locks. Shocker.

So, while correct, this info doesn't exactly belong to Coach34.

I like how you seem to think a coach possibly visiting a commitment in the last days leading up to signing day is an "emergency visit".

You like to play SPS recruiting expert, so answer this. Is it uncommon for coaches to visit a commitment in the week leading up to signing day? I'll answer for you. Coaches almost always visit their commitments in the week leading up to signing day. It's the norm. And any school, MSU included, would be foolish not to visit a commit who is looking at a school like Auburn.

And regarding your comment about Allen not recruiting him but now visiting, Allen is the reason we picked up Daniels. The party line from SPS when our staff was hired was that Allen was another HS coach who wouldn't be worth a **** at coaching or recruiting. It looks to me like Tom Allen took your boys Mullen and Brewster to the woodshed on Daniels and Kincade.

I can confirm this...that he reached out to MSU. Or more like...MSU said "are you sure" and he said "no not really". I have no idea who C34 is or where he gets his info. I know where I get mine on the RARE...RARE occassion and they are sometimes correct. It's just odd that I heard this not 10 minutes before I log in and see this here.

I stand corrected on him being Daniels' primary recruiter. Not sure why I thought that was Kiffin?

At any rate, I've heard a lot about this in the past few hours. And it's about to get really interesting.

Can you link us that that "sps party line" or did you just make that up? Took us to the woodshed on Kincade? LOL that is hilarious. Did you take us to the woodshed on Duke Riley as well? Please get a clue...

To be fair, you straight up beat us on Daniel(initially). I've said that all along, and it's true. No excuses to be made on that one.

Is that before or after Mullen's emergency in-home with Chris Jones?

Because all late in-home visits are emergency.
