That's not the whole story. We shouldn't be involved in this type of banter.
I think that Sean Kenny would be a better pickup than Kilian. IMO
SK def has more upside then Killian + a year younger + no possible baggage*

Gotta imagine that SK will follow PK wherever he commits to..

We weren't on Sontz's top 8. I saw he visited UNC, Princeton, UPenn, Cornell. Delbarton kids/parents/coaches don't really consider us so probably not.

Are we recruiting Mikey Batista (Blair), who is a similar weight? He at least has a family connection to Rutgers and is on campus a bunch tailgating for football games. Blair is similar to Delbarton, so I'm guessing no real chance, and I saw he visited Columbia, Princeton, and Northwestern, but I don't think he was on the big Rutgers recruiting weekend for the blackout game, even though he was tailgating, so I'm guessing not. I'd go after him over Coluccio and Soto unless they already indicated no interest.
I have a buddy of mine who lives in the same town as Sontz. We got talking some time back and Sontz's name got brought. Apparently the father is a real character and not to be trusted. He would write articles about his kids accomplishments in a local newsletter, is a complete user, and has zero loyalty. Apparently Cam couldn't get into Delbarton and the father left him back in 8th grade and transferred him to the middle school...which automatically garners acceptance into Delbarton. Also heard he heavily favors Cameron ( I heard he has a bunch of kids) and guess everyone sees it and makes comments.Just recently saw the kid wrestle, and know doubt he will be a 4x state champ. He is like an older 17 too from what I hear. So, you are late 17 years old and wrestling 113lbs...??? To me, beating up on 14 year olds is not an accomplishment.Ironically the father is Rutgers Law grad and has snubbed his nose at us.Guy sounds like a real charmer.

Amato is not really a true NJ recruit. I’m not entirely sure where he lives or who he’s living with currently but he’s a PA kid. Rumson is a school that you can pay tuition to attend.
Rumson has a long history of housing kids from out-of-area so they can play sports without playing the tuition too.

Sontz got the highest possible score on the Delbarton entrance exam. Cameron Reclassed because he was only 90 lbs in 8th grade. My buddy trained him at the Edge for years, the kid is probably one of the smartest and most mature/coachable kids I’ve seen on a wrestling mat.

Can’t say I know the dad.

Ok, I have no dog in this fight, because I know nothing about this kid or his family.I did though ask my buddy after you posted this.He said that the kid absolutely did not have the grades to get into Delbarton, and was reclassed and put into their middle school,as the middle schoolers get guaranteed acceptance. Apparently the father used to call himself the "Barn Director" of some small facility in their town, turned his back on the town program, but wanted his sons accomplishments posted in school sports program publications, and caused drama with several other rec. based programs. The Edge? You mean Ernie and John Monacos club? Yeah...I know them very well as they were at Clifton around the same years I was at PV.

Sean Kenny lost 2-1 in finals
Harer is in the finals, hasn’t wrestled his match yet
Reyes took 5th as the 8 seed
Harer wins 4-0. Completely dominant in Tourney outscoring opponents 50-2 and beat #2 and 6 at 144 and #6 at 150 per Flo.

Potentially best recruit since Ashnault?

I know we had Peterson, Aragona and some other dominant ones out of HS but he has to be right up there.

In terms of just big board rankings we also had Soldano who was top 10.

Love Harer’s upside and him rocking the RU singlet in s32 finals.
