West Columbus will have their homecoming on Friday Night and they are playing Red Springs. Has anyone seen the Red Devils this year? Does West have a chance? Any thoughts?

I think it's close to being an even matchup. I don't know if Evans is back....if not it might be a little harder.
Vikings have got to come out of the gate with fire in their bellies, no time to wait and get it going later. Would really like to see WC play to their full potential, always seem to have plenty of athletes.
WC has no Defense at all. Don't know what problem is at WC. They have skill people.
Program has to have some kind of improvement. I talked to several fans there,they say "we are a baseball school".
Sad to see WC down for last 7 years or so.

46- 12. Not having a JV program last 3 years that even started when season starts is telling on Varsity now. They don't even start till school starts with jv. Then only play 4 games or so. Middle school only plays conf. Games. All others play 7 games the state allows u to play in middle school. U wonder what could be problem at WC? Football is not priority at WC. Truth be told like it is.
I was hoping for 4,5 wins this year. Lucky to win 2 at this point. Not being negative but truthfully as I know it.

There are many problems with the biggest being numbers. I believe against Whiteville they dressed out 21 or 22 players. Consistence in the program has a lot to do with that. Everyone has to be willing to sacrifice 2 or 3 years to get the program back in shape to compete. Middle schools have to get off their a$$ and get to work. You can't depend on school board to fund this. It must come from the private sector and DO NOT turn these monies over to the principal. The people who work to raise the $$$ handle the funds.

I was saying on the other thread that SC has a team...the cylinders are all over the place and not working together. In my opinion, they should be winning a lot more than what I am looking at.
