Personally I’ve always thought our educational standards at UK (where I got my masters) was much better than that of Arkansas where Reed is from. Keep nut huggin. He may give you an autograph one day

And as a player Reed dont owe UK anything just like he’s allowed to go wear Arky gear. We are allowed to have our opinions about players that represent other programs less than a year after being gone.
my point is simply it’s odd to have the Reed thread pop up after every single game. We literally have the current NBA mvp and barely see what he does on a nightly basis. We have tons of high level players and all stars.
I can’t wait to see what Reed does next game. His game is so exciting that we had a debate if he would stick in the NBA or not.

He wore the Arkansas shirt to support his former coaches and teammates which has has a person relationship with. He wore the UK shorts to represent his school. He didn’t represent another team, he showed support for specific people and even said so at the time. He stays in contact with the coaches and said he talked to his 3 teammates weekly. If it’s not that serious stop crying about it and trashing a former UK player.

After careful consideration and a deep dive into my psyche, I have decided that I fall on the “I don’t really give a sh*t” side. But I begrudge no one their feelings.so which side of the fence are you on?
if we are talking about real life I don’t give a **** about anything sports related: but simply do you think it was perfectly normal to wear Arky gear (support Cal) or do you think it was a obvious decision to upset UK fans?
I think that he was trying to honor his school and coach. I think growing up a UK fan he should’ve known it wouldn’t fly well. I also think holding a grudge against him is pointless and I hope he does well in the NBA. I bet he still considers himself a UK fan.
I seriously don’t hold a grudge or dislike the guy. He just seems to have more slurpers for a guy that lost to Oakland and wore Arky gear than someone like say SGA who is the mvp.
