Yesterday there was a thread about someone trying to organize this via twitter and today I see an ad in the Reflector promoting if further. I just don't think this is a good idea. It's just too personal. Let the kid pay tribute to his late mother when he scores without you being a part of it. A lot of us are drunk with excitement right now, but step back for a moment and think about this. While I'm sure many of your hearts are in the right place, it comes across as disingenuous and something we're just doing to "look cool" on national TV.
