but MSU should toss him too.
I use quotes with saying his stupidity because its a total lie. He friggin flat out lied to the NCAA. I seem to remember so many here and in the media torching Bruce Pearl not so much for breaking the rules, but for lying(and deservedly so). Yet here is Bost who broke a rule and straight up lied to the NCAA when he gave his official explanation, but he should get to play with what amounts to not even a slap on the wrist but a flick?
He first said he was gone and didnt care if he was drafted. Then he said he was in on the last day to withdraw. Then he told the staff the next day that he was staying in. Then he said he just didnt get the paperwork in to withdraw in time. Then he said he didnt know the deadline date. Then he said he knew the deadline date, but he didnt realize he couldnt go thru the draft while not hiring an agent and come back if not drafted.
That simply doesnt make sense and his official response, as reported by KV a month or two ago, totally contradicts everything that he said in tweets and interviews.
So he was either lying the whole time leading up to the draft or he is lying to the NCAA.
Either way, not too sure why MSU would want that sort of player not just on the team, but the floor leader. He is the person who has to be the coach's voice on the floor. He clearly hasnt been able to consistently do that as evidenced by his inability to understand that you can get a 25' shot anytime in the shotclock yet he jacks em up without even passing each and every game.
Seriously, why would MSU want someone who is so ignorant and irresponsible that they dont even know about the most important date of their life/career? Or why would they want someone who either lied to everyone leading up to the draft deadline or is currently lying to the NCAA now? Why would this sort of person be a good choice to the the floor general?
The above is serious but still sorta not serious. Its taken to an extreme, sure. Im a ***** and since his talents on the court outweigh his dumassedness off the court and his random antics on the court, i will take him every day of the week...especially when the alternative is Tranny.
But while its taken to an extreme, its also something that you really cant argue unless you just want to say the end justifies the means.
If he is declared eligible, MSU fans will no longer have any room to accuse other programs of being treated better than us or that we are always getting screwed while the big programs get breaks.
If he is declared ineligible, he is getting what was coming to him per the rules. Really cant complain about that. And while his talent will be missed, i doubt his attitude on the court and questionable decision making at times will be missed.
