New division, new kit!
Brand new MW uniform designs for 2019-20. 3A is a whole new world but win or lose,
we'll at least look good doing it.

Dragon golfers Avery Bowers (’20-Hanover) and Casey Pridgen (’20-Chesterfield) have qualified for the VHSL State Golf Championship at the Williamsburg National Golf Course on October 15th. This is Avery’s third consecutive appearance competing in the championship rounds and Casey’s first.

Team coach Mike Brown said, “Avery and Casey came on strong in the regional tournament. They shot their best rounds of the year when they needed it”

Cheering for Dragons at the State Championship!

Congratulations Dragons! Girls 2019 VHSL Cross Country Champions, Class 3

Our girls’ team had an outstanding meet this past weekend taking the VHSL championship title in Class 3. Congratulations runners!

The boys’ team also had a strong showing taking 3rd place at the championship. For both teams, this was their first year to compete at a higher level at Class 3.

Thank you to coaches Jim Holdren, Deborah Snagg, and Ryan Webb for your training guidance.

Mary Caroline Heinen (’20-Richmond)
won the girls’ individual championship title.

Congrats to the Dragon boy's X-Country team.

They finished 3rd in the state behind Western Albemarle and Christiansburg.
Not bad for moving up a classification from Class 2.
